This autograph album appears to have been assembled by Bertha Martin Holmes of Pulaski, New York as a souvenir of the class of 1894 at Claverack College. This volume contains autograph inscriptions, many featuring elaborate calligraphy and hand-drawn illustrations. Many of the signatories also indicate their hometown, which reveals the student body was drawn largely from small towns in New York State. Pressed flowers and other dried plant specimens are common throughout the book.
